Working parameters

Aspect: 9:16 or 3:4 for feed; 16:9 displays letterboxed but is fine for content that demands it.
Resolution: 1080p H.264 MP4; 6–10 Mbps is the effective range.
Duration: minutes are allowed, but completion-weighted distribution still rewards tight cuts.
Cover: vertical frame chosen at publish; export candidates locally first.

Quality survival notes

Channels re-encodes for its CDN ladder. Clean H.264 sources at moderate bitrate pass through with minimal added damage; noisy low-light footage gets visibly smeared. Denoise before upload for night content.
